Kodak Launches New Matrix QLED Smart TVs in India With Google TV 5.0 Starting at Rs. 10,999

Kodak TV India has expanded its Matrix TV lineup in India with the launch of new Google TV 5.0-powered QLED smart TVs. The new range is available in 32-inch, 40-inch, and 43-inch screen sizes and is now available through Flipkart and shopsppl.in, with pricing starting at Rs. 10,999.

The company says the refreshed Matrix lineup is designed for consumers looking for compact, high-performance entertainment devices for modern homes and secondary viewing spaces.

Kodak Brings Google TV 5.0 and QLED Panels to the Affordable Segment

The new Matrix lineup features QLED display technology with support for improved brightness, colour accuracy, and wider viewing angles. Kodak says the TVs also include a bezel-less design aimed at delivering a more immersive viewing experience.

The TVs run on Google TV 5.0 and are powered by an ARM Cortex A55 quad-core processor. Users get access to over 10,000 apps and games through the Google Play Store alongside streaming apps including Netflix, Prime Video, YouTube, Apple TV, JioHotstar, Sony LIV, Voot, and Zee5.  Kodak has also included built-in Google Assistant support and Chromecast integration for voice controls and wireless content casting.

40W Dolby Audio and Multiple Connectivity Options Included

The new QLED TV range features 40W speaker output with Dolby Digital Plus and surround sound support. Kodak says the setup is designed to deliver richer and clearer audio across movies, shows, and streaming content.

Connectivity options include Bluetooth 5.0, dual-band Wi-Fi, HDMI ports, and USB ports for connecting external devices and accessories. According to Kodak TV India, the 40-inch and 43-inch segments continue to be among the most popular TV sizes in India, especially for secondary viewing setups in bedrooms and smaller living spaces.

Kodak Matrix QLED TV Pricing in India

The new Kodak Matrix QLED Google TV 5.0 lineup is priced as follows:
The 32-inch variant starts at Rs. 10,999, the 40-inch model is priced at Rs. 15,999, while the 43-inch version costs Rs. 16,999.

At Rs. 10,999, Kodak's new Matrix QLED lineup is clearly positioned at buyers looking for affordable smart TVs without sacrificing core features like QLED panels, Dolby audio, and Google TV integration. The inclusion of Google TV 5.0 is particularly important here because many TVs in this price segment still rely on slower, heavily customised operating systems with weaker app support and inconsistent long-term updates.

The combination of QLED panels, 40W speakers, and Google's smart TV ecosystem gives Kodak a stronger value proposition against competing budget TVs from brands like Thomson, Blaupunkt, Acer, and VW. However, real-world performance will ultimately depend on factors like panel calibration, software optimisation, and long-term responsiveness, areas where affordable smart TVs often struggle after extended usage. Kodak's focus on 32-inch to 43-inch screen sizes also reflects a broader shift in the Indian market, where secondary-room TVs and compact smart TVs continue seeing strong demand despite larger premium televisions becoming more affordable.
