CMF has launched the Watch 3 Pro in India, marking a significant upgrade over the Watch Pro 2 with dual-band five-system GPS, an AI-powered running coach, and improved battery life. The Watch 3 Pro introduces dual-band five-system GPS for faster and more accurate route tracking. CMF says this is a major leap forward from the Watch Pro 2, delivering stronger signal stability and better location precision. The watch supports 131 sports modes and includes a personalised running coach that builds and adjusts plans based on fitness levels.
A new four-channel heart rate sensor offers improved accuracy across all skin tones and workout intensities. The watch includes Active Score, which provides a snapshot of weekly effort using MET data. AI-powered post-workout summaries break down performance with guidance on recovery time, training load, and 5K/10K endurance predictions. The watch detects seven core activities automatically.
Beyond heart rate and sleep tracking, the Watch 3 Pro includes blood oxygen monitoring, stress tracking, guided breathing exercises, hydration and inactivity reminders, and women's health support. The watch also integrates ChatGPT on Nothing OS, allowing users to ask questions or set reminders using voice prompts. A built-in voice recorder with auto-transcription captures notes on the go, while the Essential News tool delivers daily digests. Bluetooth calling, gesture shortcuts, and 140-character quick replies are also included. CMF has added an additional microphone to improve call pickup.
The watch features a 1.43-inch AMOLED display with Always-On Display support. CMF claims a 10 percent increase in screen-to-body ratio compared to the Watch Pro 2. The watch supports over 120 custom watch faces, including video, photo, and AI-generated options via Watch Face Studio.
CMF Claims 13 Days of Battery Life on Typical Use
The Watch 3 Pro is rated IP68 for water and dust resistance. CMF claims up to 13 days of battery life under typical use, a 2-day increase from the Watch Pro 2. With heavier tracking, the watch delivers 11 days, and around 4.5 days with Always-On Display enabled. A full charge takes 99 minutes. The watch includes a 6-axis accelerometer sensor, a 50% increase from the Watch Pro 2.
The device features a precision-milled metal body with soft-touch silicone straps and is available in Light Green, Dark Grey, Light Grey, and Orange.
Solid Upgrade at Sub-Rs. 7,000 Price Point?
The CMF Watch 3 Pro is priced at Rs. 7,999 but will be available at a launch price of Rs. 6,999 for a limited time. Sales start on May 8, 2026, via Flipkart and offline stores, with early access beginning May 7 at 12 PM IST. All CMF smartwatches are transitioning to the Nothing X app, which offers improved stability and support for Strava, Apple Health, and Google Health Connect.
At Rs. 6,999, the Watch 3 Pro sits in the budget segment but packs features typically found in pricier devices. The dual-band GPS upgrade addresses a common complaint with budget smartwatches: inaccurate tracking outdoors. The 13-day battery life claim is competitive, though heavy users enabling Always-On Display will see that drop to around 4.5 days. ChatGPT integration sounds interesting on paper, but its practical utility on a smartwatch remains to be seen. For users looking for a sub-Rs. 7,000 smartwatch with decent GPS and long battery life, the Watch 3 Pro could be worth considering, especially if the early access pricing holds.
