Samsung has announced the launch of its 2026 Bespoke AI WindFree air conditioner lineup in India, expanding its portfolio with 23 new models across categories, including the introduction of 4-star variants. The new range focuses on AI-led cooling, energy efficiency, and climate-specific features designed for Indian households.
The launch comes at a time when air conditioner brands are increasingly emphasising intelligent cooling and long-term energy management, as buyers look beyond tonnage and upfront pricing to running costs and everyday comfort.
AI-Powered Cooling With WindFree Technology
At the core of the new lineup is Samsung's WindFree Cooling technology, which disperses air through thousands of micro air holes to cool rooms evenly without direct cold drafts. The technology is designed to maintain a stable indoor temperature while avoiding sudden airflow, which is often associated with discomfort during prolonged usage.
The system works in combination with AI Fast Cooling and WindFree Cooling+ modes. When quick cooling is required, the air conditioner switches to Fast Cooling to rapidly bring down room temperature. Once the target temperature is reached, it transitions to WindFree or Dry Comfort mode to maintain comfort levels while reducing power consumption. Samsung says the AI system continuously analyses room conditions, humidity levels, and user behaviour to adjust cooling output accordingly.
Focus on Energy Efficiency and New 4-Star Variants
Energy efficiency is a key focus area for the 2026 Bespoke lineup. Samsung's AI Energy Mode optimises compressor performance, temperature settings, and cooling intensity based on usage patterns to reduce electricity consumption. According to the company, this can result in energy savings of up to 30 percent without compromising comfort.
The addition of 4-star models expands Samsung's energy-efficient offerings, providing more options for consumers who prioritise lower power consumption alongside performance. This move also aligns with growing awareness around energy ratings and long-term operating costs in the Indian air conditioner market.
SmartThings Integration and Proactive Appliance Care
The new Bespoke AI WindFree air conditioners are integrated with Samsung's SmartThings ecosystem, allowing users to control and monitor their air conditioners remotely through the SmartThings app. Features such as Quick Remote, Map View, and Welcome and Away Care enable users to manage cooling settings across rooms and optimise usage based on presence.
Samsung is also highlighting preventive maintenance through SmartThings Home Care. The system uses AI-based diagnostics to monitor appliance health, detect potential issues, and notify users before problems escalate. It also provides usage insights and alerts for accessory replacement, aiming to simplify long-term maintenance and improve the ownership experience.
Designed for India's Humid Climate
The 2026 lineup introduces Dry Comfort technology, which is designed to manage humidity levels without overcooling the room. Using humidity sensors and smart refrigerant control, the system removes excess moisture while maintaining comfortable indoor temperatures. This feature is aimed at improving comfort during extended monsoon seasons and in regions with high humidity, where conventional cooling often leads to overly cold interiors.
Price and Availability
The new Bespoke AI WindFree air conditioners are priced starting at Rs 32,490 and are available across major retail outlets and online platforms, including Amazon, Flipkart, and Samsung.com. The range comes with a 5-year comprehensive warranty and a 10-year warranty on the AI Inverter Compressor.
