After a lot of waiting, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer OPPO has started rolling out the ColorOS 7 update to a sizeable number of its devices. The company has recently launched a big bunch of smartphones, including its flagship OPPO Find X2 series, which runs on the latest ColorOS 7 skin out of the box. There are, however, several existing smartphones under the company’s portfolio of mid-range devices, which are yet to receive the latest update. Thankfully, the company has officially announced the rollout timeline for the Android 10-based ColorOS 7 update. Take a look at the list of OPPO smartphones that are slated to receive the latest update in the coming days.
ColorOS 7 Official Version and Trial Version: Eligible Devices and Timeline
The company took to Twitter to make the news official. On April 30, 2020, OPPO’s official ColorOS Twitter handle broke the news via a tweet. The tweet contains the announcement and all the intel surrounding the eligible devices and the rollout schedule. Below is the tweet for your reference:

As seen in the tweet, OPPO is currently rolling out the latest ColorOS 7 update as part of the official version program and the trial version program. We will talk about both plans in detail.
1. ColorOS 7 + Android 10 Official Version Plan
The ColorOS 7 official version plan is currently being rolled out and will continue spreading out for the entirety of May 2020. Below are the devices that will receive the ColorOS 7 update in May:
- OPPO Find X series
- OPPO R17 Pro
- OPPO F11
- OPPO F11 Pro, OPPO F11 Pro Avengers Limited Edition
- OPPO Reno
- OPPO Reno 2
- OPPO Reno 10X Zoom
- OPPO Reno 2Z
- OPPO R17
- OPPO Reno 2F (from May 10 in India and from May 25 in the Philippines, Indonesia, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Myanmar, Vietnam, Cambodia, Malaysia, Thailand, Kenya, Morocco, Tunisia, Nigeria, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, UAE, and Algeria.
- OPPO K3 (from May 25)
2. ColorOS 7 + Android 10 Trial Upgrade Plan
As part of the trial upgrade plan, several OPPO devices will start receiving the ColorOS 7 update, but it will be for limited users only and will be released in a phased manner (batch by batch).
The long-awaited ColorOS 7 Trial Version plan has finally been released. Thank you for your consistent support to ColorOS. This time we revealed the date for F7 series, A9 2020 and A5 2020 users can get ColorOS 7 Trial version. Hopefully it can bring more convenience to you.
Below are the eligible devices and the timeline for the release:
- OPPO F9
- OPPO F9 Pro
- OPPO K3
- OPPO Reno 2F
- OPPO F7, OPPO F7 (128GB) (from May 16)
- OPPO A5 2020 (from May 22)
- OPPO A9 2020 (from May 28)
- OPPO R15, OPPO R15 Pro, OPPO F15, OPPO A91 (from June)
As of now, these are the OPPO devices that are slated to receive the latest Android 10-based ColorOS 7 update. The company has not announced anything about its remaining smartphones.
