Apple announced the Apple MacBook Air 15-inch model with M2 chipset yesterday at WWDC 2023 event. The new MacBook from Apple comes with a 15.3-inch Liquid Retina Display that has up to 500 nits of brightness and support for 1 billion colours. The newly introduced MacBook is priced at Rs 1,34,900 in India, and it will go on sale from June 13. During the WWDC event, Apple also announced a price cut for its MacBook Air M2 13-inch model. The company has reduced the pricing of the MacBook Air M2 by $100 (roughly Rs 8,300).
Apple MacBook Air M2 New Pricing
When Apple launched the MacBook Air with M2 chipset in India it was priced at Rs 1,19,900. The top-end model with 512GB of storage and 10-Core GPU retailed for Rs 1,49,900. Now, after the price reduction, the MacBook Air M2 256GB model is available for Rs 1,14,900, while the 512GB storage can be purchased for Rs 1,44,900 respectively. The new pricing is currently reflected on Apple’s India website. The pricing of the MacBook Air M1 remains unchanged though.
Apple MacBook Air M2 13-inch Specifications, Features
The 13-inch Apple MacBook Air with M2 chipset is the successor to Apple’s MacBook Air M1. It features a 13.6-inch Liquid Retina display that has a 500 nits brightness, 2560 x 1664 pixels resolution, and a pixel density of 224 PPI. Under the hood, the MacBook Air uses Apple’s M2 chipset which is paired with an 8-core/10-Core GPU. It packs 8GB of RAM and 256GB/512GB SSD storage. The RAM is configurable up to 24GB, while the storage can be expanded up to 2TB.

The MacBook Air M2 has a magic keyboard, force touch trackpad, 1080p FaceTime HD camera, Touch ID, four-speaker sound system, two Thunderbolt port, 802.11ax Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth v5.0, MagSafe 3 charging port, and a 52.6Wh battery. It also supports spatial Audio when playing music or video with Dolby Atmos.
