Qualcomm has announced the Qualcomm Snapdragon X Plus processor for PCs as part of the Qualcomm Snapdragon X series platform. This joins the previously announced Snapdragon X Elite SoC at last year’s Snapdragon Summit in Hawaii. Here are the details.

Qualcomm claims that the Snapdragon X Plus SoC will offer 37% better CPU performance and 54% lesser power consumption in comparison with its competitors. The chipset is designed to meet the requirements of on-device AI mobile applications. Qualcomm claims that the chipset has one of the fastest NPUs in the world reaching 45 TOPS.
The processor is fabricated on a 4nm process and features code generation in Visual Studio code from Codegon to assist programmers. Qualcomm uses Riffusion on-device AI to generate new music from prompts. Take a look at the complete specifications of the newly announced Qualcomm SoC.
