Dreame L50 Plus and L50 Launched in India Starting at Rs. 27,999

Dreame Technology has expanded its smart home portfolio in India with the launch of the Dreame L50 Plus and Dreame L50 robotic vacuum cleaners. Priced at Rs. 34,999 and Rs. 27,999, respectively, both models will be available from July 6 via Amazon India, the Dreame India website, Croma, and select retail stores.

Dreame L50 Plus And L50 Specifications And Features

The new L50 series is positioned as an affordable premium offering, bringing features such as 25,000Pa Vormax suction, dual-rotary mop pads with MopExtend technology, intelligent 10.5mm mop lift, obstacle avoidance, anti-tangle brushes, and app-based controls to the sub-Rs. 35,000 segment. Dreame says this combination of features is unique in this price category.

The Dreame L50 Plus is aimed at buyers looking for a largely hands-free cleaning experience. It comes with a 5-litre automatic dust collection system that can store debris for up to 120 days before requiring manual emptying. Other highlights include Smart Pathfinder Navigation with Single-Laser 3D Structured Light obstacle avoidance, a 300ml water tank, 230ml dustbin, 32 levels of water flow adjustment, and simultaneous vacuuming and mopping.

The standard Dreame L50 retains the same 25,000Pa suction and MopExtend technology but swaps in LDS laser navigation. It also packs a 5,200mAh battery that is rated for up to 250 minutes of runtime, ultrasonic carpet detection with automatic suction boost, five suction modes, 32 water flow levels, multi-floor mapping, room zoning, cleaning schedules, voice assistant support, and an anti-tangle brush system that Dreame claims delivers 0% hair tangling.

Both models feature a 10.5mm intelligent mop lift that automatically raises the mop pads when carpets are detected, helping keep carpets dry while switching between hard floors and rugs. They also ship with a one-year warranty and are backed by Dreame's service network across more than 160 cities in India, including pick-up, drop and installation support in eligible locations.

Dreame L50 Series Enters A Crowded Market

The Dreame L50 series enters an increasingly competitive robotic vacuum segment in India. The L50 will compete with models such as the Xiaomi Robot Vacuum X20+, ECOVACS Deebot N20 Pro Plus, ILIFE T20s, and Eureka Forbes Robo Vac N Mop, while the L50 Plus also takes on premium self-emptying options like the ECOVACS Deebot T30 Omni, Xiaomi Robot Vacuum X20 Max, and Dreame's own higher-end L40 Ultra.

With 25,000Pa suction, intelligent mop lifting, anti-tangle brushes, and a self-emptying dock on the L50 Plus, Dreame is bringing features that were previously reserved for more expensive robot vacuums into the sub-Rs. 35,000 segment. The L50 targets first-time robot vacuum buyers, while the L50 Plus is aimed at users who want a more hands-free cleaning experience without stepping into the Rs. 50,000-plus flagship category. The real differentiator, however, will be how well the navigation, mopping performance, and long-term reliability hold up in everyday Indian homes.
