Godrej Enterprises Group has launched the NX Pro Ncrypt home locker in India, bringing facial recognition to its home security range alongside fingerprint and digital PIN access. Priced from Rs 47,499, the locker allows family members to register individual faces, fingerprints and codes to access their valuables. Godrej has also introduced the SEETHRU Third-i Multi Apartment Video Door Phone with a facial recognition lobby unit, extending the technology to shared entrances in residential communities.
Both launches focus on reducing the need to carry keys or enter passwords, while retaining alternative authentication methods. NX Pro Ncrypt is meant for use inside individual homes, whereas SEETHRU Third-i caters to apartment complexes that need to manage access across multiple buildings.
Godrej NX Pro Ncrypt Price, Availability and Features

Prices for the NX Pro Ncrypt start at Rs 47,499, with availability through authorised Godrej Security Solutions retail outlets, dealer partners and digital channels across India. It supports up to 19 facial profiles, 49 fingerprints and 19 user codes, giving households room to register multiple members and more than one access method per person.
According to Godrej, the locker uses infrared-enabled facial recognition and protects stored facial templates through 128-bit AES encryption. Facial authentication provides a way to open it without entering a code or using the fingerprint reader, while the other two options remain available. For families sharing a locker, this means access need not depend on everyone remembering the same PIN.
Godrej has not specified the locker's storage capacity, dimensions, power backup or emergency access arrangements in the announcement. These details will help establish how it compares with other lockers at this price, particularly for buyers deciding where to install it and what they need to store.
SEETHRU Third-i Brings Facial Access to Apartment Complexes
Alongside the home locker, Godrej's SEETHRU Third-i system combines a multi-apartment video door phone with facial recognition at the lobby entrance. It supports up to 10,000 facial profiles, with additional authentication options through a mobile app, QR code, IC card and password. These alternatives give residential communities flexibility in how they manage entry instead of requiring every user to rely on facial recognition.
Support extends to 98 buildings on a single network, and the system can integrate with up to 32 IP cameras for monitoring. Its scale makes it relevant to larger residential developments looking to manage building access and camera feeds through a connected setup. Availability is through authorised channel partners and Godrej's project sales teams nationwide, though pricing has not been announced.
Pushkar Gokhale, Business Head of Godrej Enterprises Group's Security Solutions Business, said changing consumer expectations are driving demand for security products that combine protection with easier access. With these launches, the company is expanding facial recognition across both household lockers and residential community entrances.
