Orient Electric Launches Aerosilent Ceiling Fan With Under 50dB Noise Levels

Orient Electric has launched the Aerosilent ceiling fan, which the company claims is India's most silent fan, operating at noise levels below 50dB. The new fan joins Orient Electric's flagship Aero Series and combines low-noise operation, energy efficiency, and premium design. The Aerosilent has also received the Red Dot Design Award 2026 for its contemporary design.

Designed for Quiet Cooling With Up to 260 CMM Air Delivery

According to Orient Electric, the Aerosilent operates at less than 50dB, making it nearly 20% quieter than conventional ceiling fans. The company says the fan achieves this through an innovative reverse aerofoil blade design that reduces airflow turbulence while maintaining effective cooling performance.

Despite its focus on silent operation, the fan is rated to deliver up to 260 CMM of airflow for effective air circulation across living spaces. The design is intended to provide powerful cooling without the noise typically associated with high-speed ceiling fans.

BLDC Pro Motor Promises Higher Efficiency

The Aerosilent is powered by Orient Electric's BLDC Pro motor, which the company claims can deliver up to 50% energy savings compared to conventional induction-motor ceiling fans. The motor is also designed to maintain consistent performance during voltage fluctuations, a common challenge in many households.

Ravindra Singh Negi, Managing Director and CEO of Orient Electric, said the Aerosilent was developed to address one of the most common consumer concerns around ceiling fans; operating noise—while also delivering superior airflow and performance. The company added that the design was shaped through consumer feedback and insights from architects and interior designers.

Red Dot Award-Winning Design

Orient Electric says the Aerosilent combines engineering performance with contemporary aesthetics. The fan is available in both solid colour and dual-tone finishes designed to complement modern home interiors. Its design has been recognised with the Red Dot Design Award 2026, one of the industry's most recognised international design awards.

Expanding the Aero Series Portfolio

The launch follows the recent introduction of the Aero O2, which Orient Electric describes as India's first oxygen-enriching ceiling fan powered by its Bio-Oxy Plasma ION+ technology. With Aerosilent, the company continues expanding its Aero Series portfolio with products focused on comfort, energy efficiency, and lifestyle-oriented home solutions.

Orient Electric has not announced pricing or availability details for the Aerosilent at the time of publication.
