MecTURING Laseron Q10 Review: Powerful Suction and Precise Cleaning

As Indians rapidly adopt a fast-paced lifestyle, cleaning one’s home has become a challenging task. This shift has, in turn, made robot vacuum cleaners a more appealing option for Indian families, offering hands-free, automated cleaning with minimal intervention. To capitalise on this demand, multiple brands are now making robot vacuum cleaners more affordable and better tailored for Indian homes. One such brand is MecTURING, which entered the segment a few months ago with the launch of its Laseron Q10 robot vacuum cleaner.

On paper, the Laseron Q10 promises up to 13,500Pa, alongside LiDAR Pro 4-based precision mapping. Also, it features a 3-in-1 cleaning system, letting it vacuum, sweep, and mop simultaneously. However, what sets it apart is that these features come at ₹24,999, undercutting Xiaomi and Ecovacs models that offer similar suction performance at a price point above Rs 30,000.

Feature-heavy specification lists and affordable pricing are easy to promise; however, meaningful execution is far harder. So I spent a week with the Laseron Q10 vacuum cleaner to see whether it can deliver on its promises in everyday use.

Design

The Laseron Q10 resembles most robot vacuum cleaners on the market, with all its internal components housed in a conventional round shell. Its surface panel features a glossy black finish, giving it a clean, elegant appearance. However, this finish is susceptible to picking up minor scratches and fingerprints, which become noticeable under direct light and detract from its overall look.

While MecTURING hasn’t disclosed the Laseron Q10’s official height, our measurements indicate that the main body is approximately 3.5 inches tall, with the LiDAR module extending the overall height to around 4.1 inches. So, its body can easily slide under sofas and beds.

That said, its elevated LiDAR module often limits access under low furniture. This further leads to occasional instances where the robot vacuum cleaner gets stuck and needs to be manually retrieved.

Despite this, the Laseron Q10 is built well. Its body feels solid in the hand, and its noticeable heft gives an impression of durability and long-term reliability.

That same attention to detail carries over to its day-to-day maintenance as well. Its combined dustbin and water reservoir is designed for quick removal, making dust disposal and water refills for mopping a lot more convenient.

Even the accessories bundled with the Laseron Q10, including the mop pad and the side brush, are built with durability and practicality in mind.

While the mop pad can be easily detached from the brush for a quick rinse, the side brush is sturdy despite being made of plastic.

While the extended cable allows some flexibility in placement, it is best to position the dock against a solid wall, as the vacuum can occasionally knock it over when returning to charge.

Navigation, Cleaning and Battery Life

The Laseron Q10 utilises the LiDAR Pro 4 to map its environment with precision before cleaning the area in an S-pattern. Additionally, it features five anti-collision sensors to help avoid obstacles while cleaning.

During my experience, the robot vacuum cleaner successfully navigated around an individual standing in its way or a stool sitting out of place while cleaning a designated area. It would bump against stationary objects thrice and find another route to continue its cleaning task. However, it often knocked flip-flops and similar items off their position, requiring my family to find another space for them before the vacuum could continue cleaning effectively.

Besides the anti-collision sensors, the Laseron Q10 has three anti-fall sensors on its base. Since my home only has one floor, the robot vacuum cleaner has never had to deal with heights, so I have yet to experience the performance of its anti-fall sensors.

The Laseron Q10 works with the SmartLife app, the same platform Milagrow uses for its vacuum cleaners. Before diving into the app’s features, it is worth noting that, aside from the user manual, the company’s website provides no information about the app. Since my unit didn’t come with a manual, I had to contact customer service for the details.

Returning to the SmartLife app, pairing the Laseron Q10 is fairly easy and takes approximately five minutes to set up. Once paired, managing the robot vacuum cleaner becomes a lot more convenient. It lets you monitor battery life, track its location even when not at home, schedule cleaning sessions, and set up no-go zones or no-mop areas. It even includes the virtual boundary feature, which helped me prevent the Laseron Q10 from getting trapped inside my bed. If the robot vacuum cleaner does get trapped somewhere, it sends a notification on the app and gives voice alerts loud enough to wake someone up. Besides, the app lets you store five maps inside the robot vacuum cleaners.

Cleaning-wise, the Laseron Q10 thoroughly impressed my mom, who is meticulous about household cleanliness. Its 13,500Pa suction motor consistently left the floors spotless. What truly won her over, however, was how effectively it mopped tiled floors, reaching dust trapped in tiny crevices. She would simply pour a few drops of cleaning solution onto the floor, and the robot vacuum would effortlessly handle the mopping. It would effortlessly suck in paper shreds and fine particles, such as salt. That said, it would just deflect short paper strips from their course.

The Laseron Q10 packs a 5,200mAh battery. It took an hour and a half to clean my home, and the battery drained by approximately 20 percent, reflecting excellent power management.

Verdict

The Laseron Q10 cleaning performance, usability, and everyday practicality. That focus is evident in daily use, though it does come with a few compromises. Its glossy black finish picks up fingerprints and scratches easily, and the raised LiDAR module can sometimes get stuck under low furniture. Even so, it impresses where it counts. The 13,500Pa suction, precise LiDAR Pro 4 navigation, and 3-in-1 vacuum, sweep, and mop system make cleaning effortless. The combined dustbin and water reservoir is easy to remove, the accessories feel durable, and the body itself is solid. Along with the SmartLife app and strong battery life, the Laseron Q10 becomes a practical and reliable choice for Indian homes.
