Asus has launched the Vivobook 13 Slate OLED 2-in-1. The newest hybrid machine from the house of Asus comes with an OLED display, as the name suggests. The device is powered by Intel CPU and is running on Windows 11 OS. The 2-in-1 also supports a stylus that can be stored magnetically. The Asus Vivobook 13 Slate OLED starts at $599.99 (roughly Rs 44,400) for the base variant. It will be available starting December globally and currently, there is no word on the Indian price and availability.
Specs and Features
The star of the show here is the OLED display, the Asus Vivobook 13 Slate OLED sports a 13.3-inch Full HD OLED display with a 16:9 aspect ratio, and up to 93% screen-to-body ratio. It has a peak brightness of 550 nits and the screen is Pantone validated for colour accuracy. The screen is also certified to play HDR and Dolby Vision content. The display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass. The machine is powered by an Intel Pentium Silver N6000 Processor paired with Intel UHD graphics. It has a 50Whrs battery which is rated to last up to 9 hours. It supports USB Type-C fast charging as well 一 60% in 39 minutes.
Further, the laptop comes with up to 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB SSD storage. In terms of port options, the Vivobook 13 Slate OLED offers two USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C ports, a 3.5mm headphone jack and a Micro SD card reader. The machine comes with a soft touch detachable keyboard with a 1.4mm key-travel. The Asus Pen 2.0 features 4096 pressure levels, Type-C charging, Bluetooth pairing, and up to 140 hours of battery life.
As for the optics, there is a 5MP selfie camera and a 13MP rear camera – which can be used in tablet mode. Other features include a quad-speaker setup, built-in microphone, fingerprint scanner, Windows 11 OS, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2. Lastly, the Asus Vivobook 13 Slate OLED weighs just 800 grams.
