Asus Zenfone 8 Mini is expected to launch on May 12. Ahead of the launch, some key specs of the smartphone have leaked.
According to Dealntech, the upcoming Asus smartphone will launch as the Zenfone 8 Mini or the Zenfone 8 Flip. It will feature a 5.92-inch OLED display. We can expect the phone to feature 120Hz refresh rate support. Under the hood, the phone will pack a 4000 mAh battery with 30W fast charging support. Considering the relatively compact form factor, it was expected that the phone will pack a smaller battery.
The phone is rumoured to feature a Snapdragon 888 SoC under the hood. It could also feature a 64MP Sony IMX686 and a new Sony IMX663 sensor. Recently, the phone was listed on Geekbench 5 with the model number ASUS_I006D. It confirms that the device will draw power from a 2.84GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC under the hood. The processor is paired with Adreno 660 GPU and 16GB of RAM. It runs Android 11 out of the box.
