boAt has launched three new budget smartwatches in India. These are Wave Astra, Primia Celestial, and Wave Convex. All of these are Bluetooth-calling smartwatches and offer an IP67 rating too. There is support for tracking hundreds of physical activities and various watch face options for customization. All three smartwatches are offline market exclusive and will only be sold via offline retailers.

The boAt Wave Astra is priced at Rs 1,799 in India. The Primia Celestial and Wave Convex smartwatches will cost you Rs 1,899 and Rs 2,899 respectively. These are introductory prices but it is unknown for how long.

All three smartwatches are available for purchase via Reliance Digital, Vijay Sales, Croma, JioMart, and other general electronic stores.

boAt Wave Astra, Primia Celestial, and Wave Convex Specifications and Features

The boAt Wave Convex is the most expensive and feature-rich smartwatch among all three. It boasts a huge 1.96-inch AMOLED display with 410 x 502 pixels resolution. It also has Always-On Display functionality so that you do not have to wake the display by tapping to check details.

It has a DIY Watch Face Studio that will let users create their own unique watch faces. Users can pick from different backgrounds, fonts, colours, and complications. The smartwatch also has over 100 pre-installed watch faces if you do not want to go through the manual creation process.

There is an HD microphone and speaker for calling purposes as the smartwatch supports Bluetooth calling. It supports storing up to 10 contacts directly on the smartwatch. It has Google Assistant and Apple’s Siri support, an IP67 rating, and a battery life of up to 30 days on standby. It is claimed to last for up to 7 days with intensive use and up to 2 days with Bluetooth calling.

The Wave Astra comes with a 1.83-inch HD display and 240 x 284 pixels resolution. Its battery life is claimed to be up to 5 days and up to 2 days with Bluetooth calling. The Primia Celestial is the only smartwatch that comes with a circular display. It has a 1.52-inch display with 306 x 360 pixels resolution and 550 nits brightness. The smartwatch is said to last for 7 days with Bluetooth calling and Always-On Display disabled.

boAt says all three smartwatches have more than 700 Active Modes for tracking physical activities. Users will get other common health and fitness features like heart-rate monitoring, SpO2 sensor, sleep tracking, and guided breathing via the boAt Crest companion app. The app further offers boAt Coins for maintaining health and fitness goals which can be redeemed for gift cards.
