Shah Rukh Khan is eagerly anticipating the release of his next two films this year after appearing in the greatest box office hit of the year, Pathaan. The first of them is Jawan, whose prevue or trailer was released on Monday, July 10, nearly two months before its theatrical premiere on September 7. Shah Rukh will return to the big screen three months after the Atlee-directed film in Rajkumar Hirani’s social comedy Dunki, which hits theatres on December 22 just in time for Christmas and New Year’s celebrations.
According to the most recent reports, Dunki has already made Rs 155 crore thanks to the OTT rights to the movie being purchased by Mukesh Ambani’s Reliance-owned JioCinema for this enormous figure. This is the biggest contract ever in Indian film history for a single-language release. The digital rights of Dunki were sold in such a big amount that it even surpassed what Shahrukh Khan’s Jawaan got for OTT rights from Netflix.

Media reports suggest that Jio Cinema has bought the rights of Shahrukh Khan starrer Dunki for a whopping amount. However, as per the deal, the movie will start streaming only after the theatrical run of the movie ends. Viewers will need to have a subscription to watch the movie or not will be decided later by the streamer.
