Apple iPhone 15 Series: Price and Availability in India
Apple will be selling all models of the iPhone 15 Series from day one, without any waiting period for Pro models. Users can start placing orders for the new iPhone 15 Series on the Apple Online Store from September 15. Apple will start shipping orders from September 22.

Apple iPhone 15: Specifications and Features
The iPhone 15 now comes with Apple’s Dynamic Island design, getting rid of the notch. It retains Apple’s Face ID feature. The device comes with a 6.1-inch Super Retina XDR OLED display panel, with support for HDR10 and Dolby Vision. It has a resolution of 1179 x 2556 with a refresh rate of 60Hz.
The iPhone 15 is powered by the Apple A16 Bionic processor. The device will run on iOS 17 out of the box.
Apple has upgraded the primary camera on the iPhone 15 with a 48MP sensor. It supports sensor-shift OIS. The secondary camera on the iPhone 15 is a 12MP ultrawide lens. The selfie camera is a 12MP sensor and supports HDR and 4K video recording.
The iPhone 15 comes with stereo speakers. Apple has not specified the exact battery capacity of the device. The iPhone 15’s highlighting factor is its USB Type-C port. The iPhone 15 Plus carries the same camera setup as its younger sibling. It comes with a 48MP primary sensor with OIS, along with a 12MP wide-angle lens. The selfie camera is also the same 12MP shooter. The iPhone 15 Plus is a larger replica of the iPhone 15, containing all other specifications.
iPhone 15 Pro: Specifications and Features
The iPhone 15 Pro has got some major upgrades this year. Apple has introduced thinner bezels for the Pro models, along with a new Action button. The iPhone 15 Pro now comes with a titanium frame, along with the ceramic glass back.
The iPhone 15 Pro features a 6.1-inch Super Retina XDR OLED display with a resolution of 1179 x 2556. The device now gets Apple’s ProMotion display panel with a refresh rate of 120Hz.
The iPhone 15 Pro comes with the world’s first 3nm processor, the A17 Pro chipset. Apple’s new chip now supports hardware-accelerated ray tracing, for better AR and gaming performance.
The iPhone 16 Pro comes with a triple rear camera setup. The primary camera is a 48MP sensor that supports sensor-shift OIS. The secondary camera is a 12MP telephoto lens capable of 3X optical zoom and also supports OIS. The third camera is a 12MP ultrawide lens. Apple has also retained the 3D LiDAR sensor which helps in 3D mapping using infrared rays.

The iPhone 15 Pro Max comes with a 6.7-inch Super Retina XDR OLED display, with a resolution of 1290 x 2796. It’s a ProMotion panel with support for a 120Hz refresh rate.
The iPhone 15 Pro Max comes with the same titanium frame and ceramic glass back design. It also retains the new Action button from the iPhone 15 Pro. The USB Type-C port on the iPhone 15 Pro Max uses USB 3.0 standards, which makes it ten times faster than the USB-C port on the regular iPhone 15.

The iPhone 15 and the iPhone 15 Plus will offer five different colours. Both models will have an aluminium frame, along with a glass ceramic back panel.

Apple has introduced new FineWoven Cases and Wallets for the iPhone 15 Series. The company said that Apple will stop using leather for manufacturing iPhone accesories, as a part of their environment sustainability plans. The new HandWoven Cases and Wallets are made from 68% recycled materials, and have a feel and finish similar to that of lather.
Apple’s new FineWoven Cases are available in five colours:Mulberry, Evergreen, Taupe, Pacific Blue Black. These can be purchased from the Apple Online Store for Rs 5,990.
