A dedicated teaser website for the next Call of Duty (CoD) video game, likely called Call of Duty Black Ops 6, is now live. It was first spotted and shared by CharlieIntel, an X account well-known for CoD-related news. The official Call of Duty account shared the website later, thus confirming its legitimacy.
The Call of Duty Black Ops 6 teaser website’s tagline is “Open Your Eyes. The Truth Lies.” The URL, thetruthlies.com, and other teaser videos also reference the same thing.
The website shows an old-school interactive television set. You can easily switch TV channels, adjust the volume, play/pause a clip, download clips, and even power on/off the TV.
There are six TV channels that you can switch to and watch. It is another sign that references the game’s name would be Black Ops 6. The first teaser shows a group of people climbing Mount Rushmore and vandalising it. You can see “The Truth Lies” written here, along with a mysterious logo. The latter is speculated to be the logo for the next Call of Duty Black Ops video game.
In the second teaser clip, we see people applying a poster showing the vandalized Mount Rushmore, followed by the same line. Another teaser clip shows a news channel reporting about monuments worldwide getting defaced. People have written lines like “Truth is the first causality of war” and “Justice isn’t blind. You are.”
All these teasers align with the usual theme of Call of Duty Black Ops video games, which deals with conspiracy theories and mysteries. As we know, Activision likes to hype new CoD game launches; we can only expect more teasers to drop soon.
Microsoft has scheduled the next Xbox Showcase edition for June 9. It will announce the next Call of Duty video game at the same event. Rumours also suggest Call of Duty Black Ops 6 could be a Day 1 release for Xbox Game Pass members.
