Gray Zone Warfare, the highly anticipated first-person shooter from Madfinger Games (creators of Shadowgun and Dead Trigger), will launch on Steam Early Access on April 30. Currently ranking seven on Steam’s global wishlist, the game promises intense action with a blend of PvE and PvP elements.

Remember that Gray Zone Warfare launches on April 30 exclusively on Steam Early Access. For the Indian region, the game will be available at 12:30 AM IST on May 1.

Gray Zone Warfare offers a fresh take on extraction shooters boasting innovative features that garnered rave reviews in its recent closed beta.

Madfinger Games unveiled a new trailer to celebrate the launch. The video offers a behind-the-scenes look at the recent closed beta, during which top content creators tested Gray Zone Warfare.

In addition to the release date and trailer, the company revealed that participants in the playtest and last week’s beta testing phase will be granted early access to the game by receiving a free standard edition copy.

During the Early Access, Gray Zone Warfare offers a massive open world (42 sq km) for up to 48 players and 1000 AI units to clash. Players can choose between pure PvE or PvEvP experiences, going solo or teaming up in squads of four.

With over 150 tasks to conquer and promises of new quests, challenges, weapons, and stories throughout Early Access, there’s always something to keep you engaged. The game uses Unreal Engine 5 for amazing graphics and lets you explore, fight, and survive at your own pace.

NVIDIA adds another layer of excitement by announcing DLSS 3 (Frame Generation) support for GeForce RTX 40 series GPUs from launch day, promising significant performance boosts.

Also note that Gray Zone Warfare will remain in Early Access for “several years,” prioritising community feedback and ongoing content updates like quests, weapons, and world-building until the ultimate game is achieved.

To play Gray Zone Warfare, your PC requires a minimum processor of an Intel Core i5-8600/AMD Ryzen 5 2600 processor, 16 GB RAM, GTX 1080/RX 5700/Arc A770 graphics, DirectX 12, broadband internet, and 40 GB of storage. For an optimal experience, you’ll need a powerful process like an Intel Core i7-9700K/AMD Ryzen 5 3600X processor, 32 GB RAM, RTX 3070 Ti/RX 6800 graphic. You’ll need a Windows 10/11 Latest OS, DirectX 12, internet, and 40 GB of free space in both cases.
