Sony has launched the PlayStation 5 Slim video game console in India after months of its global debut, which happened in October 2023. The gaming console is a “slimmer” variant of the original PS5 and has a Digital edition too. Check out the pricing, features, and more details below.
Sony PlayStation 5 Slim: Pricing, Availability
Sony has revealed that the PS5 Slim (CFI-2000 model group) will be available for Rs 54,990 in the country. The PlayStation 5 Slim Digital Edition (CFI-2000 model group) is priced at Rs 44,990.
The newly announced products will go on sale on April 5 in India. Sony adds that the PS5 Slim will be available through all major retailers across the country.

The PS5 Slim offers a new form factor that is more flexible by reducing volume by 30% and weight by 18% and 24%, respectively. The console sports four separate cover panels, with the top offering a glossy finish and a matte finish for the bottom.
