Google Pixel 6a, Pixel Buds Pro Now Available for Sale in India Via Flikpart: Price, Launch Offers

Google is offering Rs 2000 instant discount with Axis Bank Credit and Debit Card transactions.


Google, earlier this month, launched a new Pixel series smartphone – the Pixel 6a in the Indian market. Google started accepting pre-orders for the smartphone starting July 21 itself. Starting today, the phone is finally available for purchase in the country. Alongside, the Pixel Buds Pro are also now available for purchase. Similar to other Pixel devices, the Google Pixel 6a is also being sold via Flipkart. In terms of design, the Pixel 6a looks identical to its elder siblings – the Pixel 6 and the Pixel 6 Pro.

The Google Pixel 6a and Google Pixel Buds Pro are now available for purchase via Flipkart. During the pre-order, the brand was offering Rs 4,000 instant discount on Axis Bank Credit and Debit card transactions. However, for the open sale, the discount amount on the Pixel 6s has been reduced to Rs 2000 (via Axis Credit and Debit Cards).

Flipkart Axis Bank Credit card customers will be eligible for an additional 5% cashback on the purchase of the Pixel 6a and the Pixel Buds Pro. Google Pixel 6a buyers can also avail the exchange offer, the brand is offering Rs 6,000 off on the exchange of any Pixel device and other select smartphone models, or Rs 2,000 off on the exchange of any other smartphone. The Google Pixel 6a price in India is Rs 43,999 for the 6GB + 128GB storage configuration. The Google Pixel Buds Pro is priced at Rs 19,990 and retails in Carbon black colour option.

Google Pixel 6a: Specifications and Features

The Google Pixel 6a flaunts a 6.1-inch Full HD+ OLED display with a 429ppi pixel density, 60Hz refresh rate, and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The display panel makes room for an optical fingerprint scanner beneath it.

The Pixel series smartphone is powered by Google’s in-house Tensor processor that brings with it Titan M2 security chip and a Mali G78 GPU. It comes paired with 6GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB of UFS3.1 storage. The smartphone boots Android 12 and is eligible for three Android updates.

The Pixel 6a relies on a dual-rear camera setup that includes a 12.2MP primary shooter and a 12Mp ultra-wide-angle lens. For selfie and video calls, it is equipped with an 8MP front shooter. The Pixel Buds Pro features an 11mm dynamic speaker driver. It offers active noise cancellation as well as a transparency mode. It packs a triple microphone setup along with wind-blocking mesh covers. It relies on Bluetooth 5.0 for connectivity and can be paired with Android and iOS devices.

The Pixel Buds Pro earbuds provide up to 11 hours of music playback on a single charge. With the charging case, the Pixel Buds Pro can last for up to 31 hours. In case ANC is kept on, the battery life including the charging case drops down to around 20 hours. It features a Type-C charging port and also supports Qi wireless charging.

Each earbud of the Pixel Buds Pro weighs 6.2grams and including the charging case, the Pixel Buds Pro weighs 62grams. The Pixel Buds Pro earbuds feature an IPX4 rating. Whereas, the charging case features IPX2 water and sweat resistant rating.
