Google introduced Magic Eraser, which can erase unwanted objects from your pictures with the Google Pixel 6 series smartphones. A leaker teaser video of the Pixel 8 series smartphones reveals that the forthcoming devices will feature Audio Magic Eraser.

A user named EZ shared the teaser video on X (formerly Twitter), which reveals the key features of the upcoming Pixel 8 series smartphones. The video confirms that the upcoming Google Pixel smartphone will be the only one to feature Audio Magic Eraser. The teaser video displays a video of recording a woman skateboarding, which captures the sound of wheels and some laughter. Later, a person can also be seen editing the video using the Google Photos app.

The teaser video then reveals the Audio Magic Eraser feature, which can isolate and manipulate audio. The recorded video will be analyzed after pressing the Audio Magic Eraser button and can be seen displaying a slider. The user can hear the video of the background laughter upon lowering the slider. The background noise can be manipulated by enhancing or completely removing it. The teaser video also displays the rear panel of the vanilla Pixel 8 at the end of the video.

The video reveals that Google will launch the smartphone with new blue colour. The video confirms that the smartphone will be equipped with rounded corners. The large rectangular cut-out housing the camera sensors and LED flash can also be seen in the video. A German publication Winfuture citing dealer data, recently revealed that the Pixel 8 will be available in Licorice, Peony, and Haze colour options. The vanilla smartphone will be launched with 128GB and 256GB storage options.

In contrast, the Pro variant will be available in Licorice, Porcelain, and Sky colour options. Google will launch the Pro variant with 128GB, 256GB and 512GB storage variants. MySmartPrice exclusively revealed Google will equip the vanilla model with a 6.2-inch OLED display. The device will have a dimension of 150.5 x 70.8 x 8.9mm and measure 12mm in thickness. The smartphone will have a centered punch-hole cut-out to house the selfie camera.

The vanilla variant was recently spotted in Wireless Power Consortium certification, revealing 12W wireless charging support. The smartphone is tipped to launch at USD 649 for the base variant with 128GB storage. Google will equip the smartphone with 8GB RAM and a 120Hz refresh rate for the OLED display. Under the hood, the device will be equipped with Google Tensor G3 SoC, built on a 4nm process.
