91mobiles spotted a new Honor smartphone on the BIS certification website. The BIS listing confirms that this is the next smartphone to be launched by Honor in India. The listing doesn’t contain a moniker or a model number, making it hard to know which device it is. However, the publication cites industry sources to confirm that the model listed on the BIS website is indeed the Honor X9b, which was launched earlier this year in Saudi Arabia and UAE.
The publication also speculates that the Honor X9b will launch in India by the December end or early January. Previously, Madha Sheth confirmed that the second Honor phone will launch in India Before the year-end. The handset is expected to compete against the Realme 11 Pro series with a price tag of around Rs 25,000. This will be the mid-range offering from the brand unlike the premium mid-range Honor 90.
