Alongside the new Spectre x360 laptops, new wireless earbuds, Keyboard, and mouse, HP also has launched the HP Omen Transcend 14 laptop at CES 2024. The newly introduced HP Omen Transcend 14 is a gaming-focused laptop which features a 14-inch display. HP claims that the Omen Transcend 14 is the world’s coolest and lightest 14-inch gaming laptop, which has an advanced OLED display, an elegantly slim body, and superior-grade internals.
The laptop comes with an Intel Core Ultra 9 processor, Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070 GPU, and an ultra-vibrant RGB keyboard translucent keycaps. Let us take a look at the pricing, and detailed specifications of the new HP laptop ahead:
HP Omen Transcend 14 Pricing, Availability
The HP Omen Transcend comes in Shadow Black and Ceramic White colours. The laptop is available for pre-order from HP’s official website for a starting price of $1,499 (Roughly Rs 1,24,600). It will be also available from Best Buy in the US in coming few days. There’s no word on India availability at the moment.
Alongside, the Omen Transcend 14, HP also has launched the Omen Transcend 16 and Omen 16 laptop. The starting price of these laptops is set to be $1,899 (Roughly Rs 1,57,900) and $1,199 (Roughly Rs 99,700) respectively. The Omen Transcend 16 and Omen 16 will be available from January 16.
HP Omen Transcend 14 Features, Specifications
The HP Omen Transcend 14 comes with a 14-inch OLED display that has a 2.8K resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, 500 nits brightness, and HDR support. Powering the laptop is a Intel Core Ultra 9 processor, paired with a Nvidia RTX 4070 GPU. The laptop has support for up to 32GB of RAM and 2TB of internal storage.
It also has a redesigned chassis, which utilizes inbound airflow to create a pressurized zone using a vapour chamber for direct heat dissipation through rear vents.
Omen Transcend 14 has Wi-Fi 7 support, Bluetooth v5.4, a USB A-port, a USB C-port, and a 3.5mm audio jack. The laptop packs a 71WHr battery unit with support for 140W charging. The laptop can offer around 6 hours of battery life on a single charge.
