Huawei, as well as its sub-brand Honor, have been launching plenty of smartphones lately. We recently saw the global launch of the Huawei P40 series of smartphones. Right after that, Honor released its Honor 30S and Honor Play 9A smartphones. The Honor Play 4T and Honor Play 4T Pro are already in the pipeline and are set for launch on April 9, 2020. On April 15, the Honor 30 and the Honor 30 Pro smartphones are going to launch in China. Amongst all this, if we tell you that Huawei is likely to launch its Huawei Nova 7 series of smartphones as well, what would your reaction be? Well, it turns out that this may very well be the case and Huawei could launch the Huawei Nova 7, Huawei Nova 7 SE, and Huawei Nova 7 Pro smartphones in China on April 23, 2020. Huawei Nova 7 Series Could Launch on April 23, 2020

The report has popped up online courtesy of a leakster, who posted the same on the Chinese microblogging website Weibo. As per the leakster, Huawei will unveil the Huawei Nova 7, Huawei Nova 7 SE, and Huawei Nova 7 Pro smartphones on April 23, 2020 in China. Here’s what the Weibo post says (roughly translated from Chinese):

Huawei nova7 series is coming, released on April 23, there are also super-large cup [Laugh without words]
Huawei nova7 series, released on April 23, and on sale on the 28th, there are three versions, according to the positioning: nova7 se <nova7 <nova7 Pro of
If Huawei nova7 Pro has surprises (nova’s own super-large cup), the price should be around 3500. (See Figure 1 for prices of other versions) In

Well, the post is certainly not perfectly translated, but we can still make out certain things from it. As per the post, the Huawei Nova 7 could be priced somewhere around CNY 2,000 to CNY 3,000, the Huawei Nova 7 SE could be priced around CNY 3,000, and the Huawei Nova 7 Pro is tipped to be priced around CNY 3,500 to CNY 4,000.

Furthermore, the post says that the Huawei Nova 7 series could feature Kirin 820, Karin 985, and Kirin 990 5G mobile platforms. The Kirin 985, for instance, is an enhanced variant of the Kirin 980 processor and will fall somewhere between the Kirin 820 and the Kirin 990 processors. Note that the above leak is nowhere near an official confirmation, so we would suggest that our readers take it with a slight grain of salt for now.

That being said, a Huawei smartphone was recently spotted on the Geekbench database website, where we found that it was being powered by a Kirin 820 processor.
