Infinix, a Hong Kong-based smartphone brand, has finally taken the wraps off its latest offering in India, dubbed the Infinix S5 Pro. The Infinix S5 Pro is a mid-range entrant in the Indian smartphone market, which is already jam-packed with smartphones like the Redmi Note 8, Realme C3, Realme 5i, Realme 5, and Redmi 8A Dual to name a few. Infinix S5 Pro: Price in India, Sale Date

The Infinix S5 Pro is priced at Rs 9,999 in India, which roughly translates to somewhere around $135. The device is offered in two color variants – Violet and Forest Green – and will go on sale in India from March 13, 2020. Interested buyers can get their hands on the Infinix S5 Pro via the Indian e-commerce website Flipkart.

Infinix S5 Pro: Specifications and Features

Coming to the specifications of the device, the Infinix S5 Pro features a 6.53-inch Full HD+ display, which comes with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio and a 394ppi pixel density. The display gives a resolution of 1080×2220 pixels. The Infinix S5 Pro has stayed away from notches and punch-holes as it has relied on a pop-up selfie camera mechanism. Speaking of the pop-up camera, the Infinix S5 Pro sports a 16MP selfie snapper. Moving around on the back of the device, the Infinix S5 Pro sports a triple rear camera setup – a 48MP primary lens, a 2MP depth sensor, and a low-light sensor. At the back, one can also locate a physical fingerprint scanner sitting above the Infinix branding. The volume rocker and the power button sit on the right side of the device, while the SIM tray is on the left side. The device measures 162.5×76.88×8.95mm and weighs in at 194 grams.

Powering the Infinix S5 Pro is a MediaTek Helio P35 processor, which is paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. Storage has scope for further expansion by up to 256GB with the help of an external SD card. The SD card slot, by the way, is dedicated, meaning that you can insert two SIM cards and a microSD card at the same time in the Infinix S5 Pro. In the software field, the Infinix S5 Pro runs the latest Android 10 OS, which is coated with the company’s in-house XOS 6.0 UI on top. XOS has certain interesting features, such as Social Turbo, Wi-Fi Share, Smart Panel, Smart Gestures, and Game Mode.

Moving on to the battery of the device, the Infinix S5 Pro features a 4,000mAh battery, which can be charged at up to 10W of charging speed. Sadly, the device relies on a microUSB port for charging. The battery, as claimed by Infinix, can provide up to 28 hours of music playback on a single charge.
