Infinix has just launched a new smartphone in India – the Infinix Smart 3 Plus. It comes in only one variant — 2GB RAM + 32GB storage. And it costs INR 6,999. The Infinix Smart 3 Plus will be available exclusively on Flipkart starting from April 30. Here are its specifications.
Infinix Smart 3 Plus Specifications
The Infinix Smart 3 Plus has a 6.21-inch IPS LCD with HD+ resolution, 19.5:9 aspect ratio, and a V-shaped notch at the top. The brand says that the screen can put out 500 nits brightness.
The smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Helio A22 SoC. This chipset is built on the 28nm manufacturing process, and it has quad-core Cortex-A53 CPU, and IMG PowerVR GPU. As I have mentioned above, the device comes in only one configuration – 2GB RAM + 32GB storage. There is also a dedicated microSD card slot. The smartphone comes loaded with Android 9 Pie operating system, and it has XOS 5.0 Cheetah user interface customization.
The Infinix Smart 3 Plus features a triple-camera setup at the back, which has a 13MP primary camera sensor, a 2MP depth-sensor, and the last one is what the brand calls as lowlight sensor. I’m not quite sure how does the lowlight camera sensor benefits; it is most probably a marketing gimmick. The rear camera has Auto Scene Detection, AR Stickers, and Dynamic Face Matching. The front-facing camera is an 8MP sensor that features screen flash, and AI-assisted Beauty mode.
The Infinix Smart 3 Plus comes with a 3500mAh battery. The device features a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, and face unlocking option. The connectivity options on the Infinix Smart 3 Plus include dual-SIM, 4G, VoLTE, Wi-Fi b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.2, GPS, microUSB port, and a 3.5mm audio jack. The device has a non-metal body and a glass back panel.
Should You Buy Infinix Smart 3 Plus?
For a similar price, Realme is offering the Realme C2, which has been launched just yesterday. The Realme C2 has a more powerful processor, a larger battery capacity, and better connectivity options compared to the Infinix Smart 3 Plus. The Realme C2 also has Corning Gorillas protection, which the Smart 3 Plus misses out on. And then there is the brand value. Realme is a bigger and more popular brand than Infinix. And therefore, you’ll get more buyback value on the Realme C2 compared to the Smart 3 Plus. Realme also has better after sales service. So, on paper at least, the Realme C2 looks a better device than the Infinix Smart 3 Plus. Do let us know in the comments below what do you think about the Infinix Smart 3 Plus.
