
Infinix launched a new smartphone under the Zero series, Infinix Zero 8 in Indonesia a couple of months ago. Now, the company has launched the Infinix Zero 8 along with the Zero 8i in Pakistan. This is the global debut for the Infinix Zero 8i, which is a toned-down version of the Zero 8. Infinix has downgraded the primary rear and front cameras on the Zero 8i compared to the Zero 8. Similar to the Infinix Zero 8, the Infinix Zero 8i packs a 90Hz refresh-rate display, a gaming-centric MediaTek Helio G90T under-the-hood, and 4,500mAh battery with 33W fast charging.
Infinix Zero 8i: Price
Infinix Zero 8i comes only in 8GB RAM and 128GB storage configuration which costs PKR 34,999 (approx Rs. 15,644). It’s elder sibling, Infinix Zero 8 costs PKR 39,999 (approx Rs. 17,880) for the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant.
Infinix Zero 8i: Specifications and Features
Infinix Zero 8i features a modern bezel-less display with a dual-punch-hole notch. The display on the smartphone is a 6.85-inch FHD+ panel which comes with a 90HZ refresh rate and 180Hz touch sampling rate. Coming to the processor, the device sports gaming-centric MediaTek Helio G90T, this is the same processor that we have already seen on popular devices like Redmi Note 8 Pro and Realme 6.
The MediaTek Helio G90T is built on the 12nm FinFET process and comes coupled with ARM Mali-G76 GPU and multi-dimensional liquid cool technology. The smartphone comes with 8GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage which can be further expanded with the help of a dedicated Micro-SD card slot.
Moving on to the cameras, the Zero 8i has a quad-rear camera setup, the camera module on the handset is a diamond-shaped module. The primary 48MP sensor on the smartphone gets coupled with an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens. There is also a 2MP camera, a dedicated AI lens, and an LED flash. Talking about the front camera, the Zero 8i offers a dual front camera setup. Out of these, the primary sensor is a 16MP sensor, while the secondary sensor is an 8MP ultra-wide-angle shooter.
The handset gets a 4500mAh battery with 33W fast-charging support. It makes use of a USB Type-C port for charging. The fingerprint sensor on the Zero 8i is embedded in the power button and can be found on the right edge. It boots Infinix’s proprietary XOS7, based on Android 10.
