The 17th edition of the Indian Premier League is set to happen in 2024, and teams have started gearing up for the tournament. The mini-auction for the upcoming IPL 2024 is scheduled for December 19. Ahead of the auction, IPL teams have now released the list of players retained by them.

The trading window for IPL 2024 is also open. The biggest highlight of the season will be Hardik Pandya’s return to Mumbai Indians, who has been traded from Gujarat Titans in an all-cash deal. Here’s a complete list of players retained and released by teams for IPL 2024.

Chennai Super Kings

  • CSK retained MS Dhoni, confirming his participation in IPL 2024 as defending champions.
  • Jadeja, Conway, Ruturaj, Chahar, and other core players were also retained.
  • Ben Stokes has been released as he decided to skip IPL 2024 to focus on Test Cricket.

Mumbai Indians

  • Mumbai Indians have brought back Hardik Pandya from Gujarat Titans.
  • MI have traded Cameron Green to RCB.
  • Rohit Sharma is set to lead MI as captain in IPL 2024.
