iQOO Neo 7 5G is set to make its debut later this month in India. The company has confirmed that it will launch the Neo 7 5G in India on February 16. The device will launch as a successor to the much popular iQOO Neo 6 5G, which was launched last year as a performance-focused smartphone under Rs 30,000. The Neo 7 5G launching in India will feature a MediaTek Dimensity 8200 SoC. The chipset is a successor to the Dimensity 8100 SoC, which was launched last year and found in a few phones like the Redmi K50i.
iQOO has been teasing some more features of the Neo 7 5G. The company is focusing on the phone’s performance, more details of which will be announced at the event. Meanwhile, MySmartPrice has got access to the CPU throttling score, AnTuTu score and some other details about the Neo 7 5G that highlight the key performance metrics of the phone. iQOO Neo 7 5G India Variant AnTuTu Score, Design Renders
The iQOO Neo 7 5G will debut as a successor to the Neo 6 in India. The phone will be a rebadged Neo 7 SE 5G from China and feature a Dimensity 8200 SoC. The Neo 7 5G India variant will be the first smartphone in the country to feature the new MediaTek premium SoC.
The SoC is a successor to the Dimensity 8100 SoC. As per the leaked details obtained by our industry source, the Neo 7 5G’s Dimensity 8200 SoC has scored much higher than the Dimensity 8100 SoC and Snapdragon 870 SoC on AnTuTu. The Neo 7 5G with Dimensity 8200 SoC scored 8,62,438 points, which is much higher than the Dimensity 8100’s score of 7,10,269 points and Snapdragon 870 SoC’s score of 7,28,976 points.
Our sources also tested the SoC’s sustained performance, which showed that it throttled to 86 per cent while having an higher average GIPS compared to the Snapdragon 870 SoC. The Dimensity 8100 SoC’s CPU throttled to 75 per cent of its max performance in comparison.
Even in 3D Mark Wild Life Extreme Stress Test, the phone offered a near perfect score. The Neo 7 5G’s Dimensity 8200 SoC had a stability score of 99.4 per cent, which is higher than its predecessor’s score of 99 per cent. The difference is significantly higher than the Snapdragon 870 SoC, which scored 84.4 per cent.
Lastly, we can confirm that the iQOO Neo 7 5G will come with support for ‘Ultra’ frame rate setting in Call of Duty: Mobile, which should help gamers get a smoother experience while playing the game.

The Neo 7 5G India variant will have a triple-camera setup on the back. There is also a 5000mAh battery in the phone, which supports 120W fast charging out of the box. As expected, the Neo 7 5G will offer a 120Hz refresh rate display. The screen is also taller than the outgoing model. The Neo 7 5G India variant will have a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a Full HD+ resolution and a hole-punch cutout at the top centre.
