iQOO Neo 8 Pro Specifications Tipped
The upcoming Neo 8 Pro is tipped to feature the upcoming MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ chipset built on a 4nm process. For reference, the iQOO Neo 7 launched in India came with MediaTek Dimensity 9000+ chipset. iQOO will equip the smartphone with a large 6.78 inches AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution. The display will have a refresh rate of 120Hz and a resolution of 2800 x 1260 pixels. It would also come with 2160Hz PWM Dimming support.
The 1.5K resolution display and Dimensity 9200+ SoC is an upgrade over the existing iQOO Neo 7 smartphone. Previously, the tipster revealed the iQOO Neo 8 Pro would equip a 50MP primary rear camera sensor. iQOO would reportedly use a large 1/1.5-inch camera sensor with the device. The other details of the camera sensors are unavailable at the moment.
The Pro variant is expected to feature a triple rear camera setup with an ultra-wide-angle sensor and a telephoto sensor. The tipster also added that the device would pack a large 5000 mAh battery. Similar to the Neo 7, it would also bring support for 120W fast charging tech. The smartphone would run on FuntouchOS 13 based on Android 13 out of the box.
The Dimensity 9200+ chipset would pair with up to 16GB of RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. A few reports suggest that iQOO might launch the smartphone in China on May 2023. The vanilla Neo 8 with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC would compete against OnePlus 11R (Ace 2 in China), Redmi K60 and more.
The device would be equipped with a 50MP primary rear camera. It is tipped to feature an AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution. Other details of the smartphone are under wraps. iQOO might launch the smartphone in India, but the event might be scheduled for Q3 of 2023.
