iQOO is likely to launch the Neo 8 series soon. The company recently launched the Neo 7 series in China, one of which came to India. The Neo 8 series, as of now, is rumoured to feature two premium smartphones. There will be the standard Neo 8 alongside the Neo 8 Pro in China. It is unknown if iQOO will launch the devices outside China. While we wait for some more details about the same, a new leak has revealed the key specifications of both devices.
Tipster Digital Chat Station has revealed the display, camera and performance unit features (via) of the Neo 8 series. The tipster is also expecting the phones to get some design improvements. Let’s take a look at the iQOO Neo 8 series specifications, features and other details leaked so far.
iQOO Neo 8 Series: What You Need to Know
The iQOO Neo 8 series will include at least two premium phones. There will be the vanilla Neo 8, above which will be the top-end Neo 8 Pro. Ahead of the launch, tipster Digital Chat Station claimed that the Neo 8 series will feature a 1.5K display. The screen will offer support for high-frequency PWM dimming. As of now, the display size is unknown but if it is anything like the Neo 7 series, the Neo 8 series might sport a 6.78-inch AMOLED display.
Under the hood, the Neo 8 Pro will feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC. The vanilla model, on the other hand, has a Dimensity 9200+ SoC, according to the tipster. At the moment, details about the Dimensity 9200+ SoC are unknown.
In addition to the above details, the tipster further revealed that the Neo 8 series will support 120W fast charging out of the box. This was kind of expected as the Neo 7 series in China and India offers 120W fast charging support. While the tipster did not reveal the battery capacity, it would not be a surprise if the phones pack a 5000mAh battery under the hood.
The Neo 8 series is also said to feature a 50MP primary camera sensor. The tipster previously reported that the Neo 8 Pro will feature a 1/1.5-inch camera sensor but did not share any details about the size brand.
The Neo 8 series is tipped to feature up to 16GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. Other specifications of the upcoming iQOO premium smartphones are unknown. The tipster has claimed that the Neo 8 series will launch in China in May 2023. We can expect the company to launch the next generation Neo series smartphones in India.
