India has four major network operators in 2022 Reliance Jio, Airtel, Vi, and BSNL. While Jio always takes the aggressive approach and attracts customers, other players also have millions of loyal customers and they do offer value for money recharge packs and benefits for their respective user base. All the operators offer a bunch of prepaid offers for calls, internet packs, and SMS.

In this guide, we will take a look at the cheapest plans from all the four operators with 100 SMS per day plan and the cheapest plans with a fixed number of SMS per month. While we don’t use SMS as much as we used to do a decade ago, SMS comes in handy when there is a bad internet connection or it comes in handy when you are verifying your bank details on a payment app. Having at least a few hundred SMS per month is always useful. Let’s take a look at the detailed comparison of the cheapest SMS pack available for Jio, Airtel, Vi, and BSNL users.
