Acer has announced the Swift 14 AI laptop in the US as the company’s first Copilot+ PC. According to the company, the integrated NPU within the Qualcomm processors on the Acer laptop delivers 45 trillion operations per second (TOPS), making it ideal for AI-related tasks.
Acer Swift 14 AI: Pricing, Availability
Acer has launched the Acer Swift 14 AI laptop in a single colourway, and the device will be available in North America starting July 2024 for $1,099 (approx. Rs 91,500). The laptop will also be available in EMEA (Europe, the Middle East, and Africa) regions starting in June 2024 and retail for €1,499 (approx. Rs 1,35,500).
Acer has yet to reveal the India availability of these newly launched Copilot+ PCs. The Taiwanese giant is expected to launch the Copilot+ PC in the upcoming months in the country.
Acer Swift 14 AI: Features, Specifications
Acer equips the Acer Swift 14 AI laptop with Qualcomm Snapdragon X Elite and Qualcomm Snapdragon X Plus processors. The laptop sports a dedicated Microsoft Copilot Key to access the popular AI features, including Recall, Cocreator, Live Captions, and more.
The Recall function will help users retrieve the things they have visited in a day. The Cocreator will generate an interpretation of the user’s description. The Live Translate feature will assist the user by providing instant translations in the form of subtitles.
