The Lava Z4 is an entry-level smartphone which features a 6.51-inch HD+ display, Helio G35 SoC, 4GB of RAM, a 13MP triple-camera setup, and a 16MP selfie camera. Now, after two years, it seems that the device will be getting a successor soon in the form of the Lava Z4 Plus. The reason for this is that the Lava Z4 Plus has received the FCC certification. The listing reveals the design of the smartphone ahead of launch.

Lava Z4 Plus Will Pack 4,000mAh Battery

The FCC certification documents reveal that the Lava Z4 Plus will feature a water-drop shape notch at the centre of the display. The device will have a speaker grille, a microUSB port, a microphone, and a 3.5mm audio jack at the bottom side. The smartphone will feature a triple-camera setup accompanied by an LED flash at the rear side. The power and volume keys will be located on the right edge of the device, while on the left side, there will be a SIM card slot. The certification documents also reveal that the power button will double up as a fingerprint sensor. The device will also have a microSD card slot.

Furthermore, the listing also discloses that the Lava Z4 Plus will pack a 4,000mAh battery which will support 7.5W charging. Apart from the images and battery capacity details, no other specification of the device is revealed by the FCC certification. At present the launch date of the device also remains unknown. However, now that the smartphone has received FCC approval, we can expect it to debut in the coming few weeks.

The upcoming Lava Z4 Plus will succeed the Lava Z4 as mentioned-above. To recall, the Lava Z4 features a 6.51-inch display that has a HD+ resolution and a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. Under the hood, the device is powered by an octa-core Helio G35 SoC which is coupled with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage.

The smartphone features a triple-camera setup which consists of a 13MP main camera, a 5MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP depth sensor. The front of the handset consists of a 16MP camera which has a f/2.0 aperture. The smartphone draws power from a 5,000mAh battery. The handset is priced at Rs 8,999 in India and it comes in Blue and Red colour options.
