Alleged Redmi Note 13 Pro+ Camera and Chipset Details Leaked

A tipster has revealed the camera and chipset details of the forthcoming Redmi Note 13 Pro+ smartphone ahead of its launch.

Xiaomi hosted a launch event recently in China, unveiling a couple of products. The company unveiled Xiaomi Mix Fold 3, Redmi K60 Ultra, Xiaomi Pad 6 Max, Xiaomi Band 8 Pro and more. Xiaomi also launched a rebranded Redmi Note 12R under the Redmi 12 5G moniker in India. A recent report revealed that Xiaomi is working on the Redmi Note 13 series.

Previously, we had spotted the upcoming Note 13 series smartphones on EEC certification. The smartphones were also spotted in IMEI and MIUI servers. A tipster recently revealed the schematics and primary camera details of the upcoming Note 13 Pro+ smartphone. Another tipster has revealed the complete camera specifications and chipset details of one of the forthcoming Note 13 series smartphones.

Redmi Note 13 Pro+ (Alleged) Tipped Chipset and Camera Specifications

The specifications shared by the tipster Kacper Skrzypek are allegedly believed to be of the upcoming Redmi Note 13 Pro+ smartphone. The tipster reveals that the smartphone will be equipped with a MediaTek SoC. The tipster adds that Xiaomi will likely equip the forthcoming smartphone with a MediaTek similar to the Redmi K60 Ultra. Xiaomi equips the Redmi K60 Ultra with a MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ SoC.

The company claimed that the device scored 1,774,714 points in AnTuTu benchmarks, which are believed to be the highest score on any smartphone. Kacper Skrzypek adds that Xiaomi will equip the smartphone with a 200MP primary rear camera. Xiaomi will likely equip the smartphone with a Samsung HP3 sensor with f/1.8 aperture. The Chinese OEM will also equip the smartphone with a secondary 8MP Sony IMX 355 ultra-wide-angle lens and a 2MP OmniVision OV2B10 macro/depth lens.

The company will house the 16MP OmniVision OV16A1Q selfie camera inside the punch-hole in the display. Tipster Kacper Skrzypek doesn’t reveal any other specifications of the upcoming Redmi Note 13 series smartphones. The tipster adds that Xiaomi will launch the smartphone in the global markets with the exact camera specifications. The schematics revealed earlier hints that Xiaomi would equip the smartphone with a curved display.

Xiaomi is also tipped to equip the smartphone with a camera cut-out similar to the flagship Xiaomi 13 smartphone. Digital Chat Station confirmed the smartphone would have a 6.7-inch OLED display with a centred punch-hole. Xiaomi will equip the smartphone with a 1.5K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. The smartphone will be backed by a large 5000 mAh battery with 120W wired fast charging support.

The upcoming smartphones will likely be equipped with MIUI 15 based on Android 13 out of the box. A previous report revealed that the vanilla Redmi Note 13 smartphone will have the codename garnet_pre. The Chinese variant of the Note 13 series smartphones with the model number 2312DRAABC was listed in the IMEI database. The global variants with the model numbers 2312DRAABG and 23090RA98G were also listed in the EEC certification.
