Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 Design Revealed in a Leaked Video
As you can see in the above post by Ice Univers, the tipster has shared a video and several images of the upcoming Galaxy Fold flagship from the South Korean brand. The video shows that the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 will likely feature the same flat folded display panels as the recently launched Galaxy Z Fold 5. However, there’s a noticeable difference in the hinge, which appears to be improved upon.
The biggest noticeable change is the cover display seen in the video. The cover display flaunts a wider aspect ratio than the existing Galaxy Z Fold 5. According to the tipster, the cover display of the Galaxy Z Fold6 will be the same as the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra. It’s one of the most prominent changes the Fold lineup will receive, considering all the previous Fold models had narrower cover displays.
Moreover, the curvature of the sides has reduced, and the bottom has a flatter design as well. Samsung seems to be leaning towards a more industrial, boxy design similar to the Galaxy S23 Ultra for its upcoming flagships. It’s evident that the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy S24 Ultra will be more identical than ever.
The renders shared by Ice Universe have also sparked a debate on X about the size of the bezels on the Galaxy S24 Ultra and Galaxy Z Fold 6. According to the tipster, while Samsung is increasing bezel size, Apple is going from large bezels to almost non-existent bezels on the upcoming iPhone 15 series. We will know more when these devices launch in the coming days.
