Samsung Galaxy Watch 7, Galaxy Watch FE FCC Listings Reveal 15W and 5W Wireless Fast Charging Support

The upcoming Samsung Watch with the model number SM-L705U has now cleared FCC certification. This is likely the e-SIM variant of the Galaxy Watch 7. The listing reveals that the smartwatch will support 10W charging.

Samsung is expected to unveil the Samsung Galaxy Watch 7 series at the upcoming Unpacked. In a new development, we have spotted the Samsung Galaxy Watch 7 on the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) certification. Alongside, we have also spotted another Galaxy smartwatch on FCC which could be the Samsung Galaxy Watch FE. Take a look at the details.

The upcoming Samsung Galaxy Watches with model numbers SM-L300, SM-L305, SM-L310, and SM-L315 have been spotted on the FCC certification. The Galaxy watches with model numbers SM-L300 and SM-L310 support WiFi connectivity and will likely have 40mm and 44mm diameters. The SM-L305 and SM-L315 could be the LTE connectivity variants of SM-L300 and SM-L310.

Also, the Samsung Galaxy Watch with mode number SM-L305 will feature support for 15W wireless charging, as per the FCC listing. This is 50% faster compared to the existing Galaxy smartwatches. To those unaware, the Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 and Watch 6 series support 10W fast charging. The FCC listing also revealed the model number of the charger, which is EP-OL300.

The Samsung Galaxy Watch FE’s model number is SM-R861. As per the documents, it will feature support for 5W wireless charging. Similar to the Samsung Galaxy Watch 4. Apart from that, FCC listings do not reveal anything about the upcoming smartwatches. However, we can expect these to appear on other certifications ahead of its debut. So, stay tuned.
