The iPhone 15 series was launched globally last week with four new devices iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro, and iPhone 15 Pro Max. Ever since the launch, like any other iPhone, these devices have been in the news for one or the other reason. First, the iPhone 15’s battery capacity was revealed by the Chinese regulatory database and then the RAM details of the devices were revealed.
More recently, the iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max’s Geekbench scores were revealed along with GFXBench scores and now, the iPhone 15 Pro Max’s AnTuTu benchmark scores have been revealed. The latest top-of-the-line device from Apple has outscored the last-gen 14 Pro Max in CPU, GPU, Memory and UX department scores on the AnTuTu benchmark. Let us take a look at the AnTuTu benchmark score of the iPhone 15 Pro Max in detail.
iPhone 15 Pro Max AnTuTu Scores Revealed: A17 Pro outperforms A16 Bionic SoC; Falls Behind Snapdragon 8 Gen2-Powerered OnePlus Ace 2 Pro
AnTuTu has officially posted the scores of the iPhone 15 Pro Max on the website today. According to the post, the 15 Pro Max scored 1641883 points in the test, which beats all the previous iPhone models but, when it comes to the overall leaderboard, the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro has already secured 1733703 (via Weibo) and iQOO 11S with 1645393 points, which are marginally ahead of the iPhone 15 Pro Max.
The AnTuTu benchmark test was recorded on the iPhone 15 Pro Max with 8GB of RAM and 1TB of storage, which is the top-end model. In terms of software, the device was running on the iOS 17 version. As for the breakdown, the iPhone 15 Pro Max has secured 392643 points in the CPU category, 597734 in GPU, 306164 in Memory, and 345342 in the UX department. For comparison, here is how much the iPhone 14 Pro Max scored on the AnTuTu along with the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro, which is the current leader.

The new A17 Pro chipset is powering the iPhone 15 Pro Max and as we can see in the above table and image, the SoC is outperforming the iPhones 14 Pro Max and falls behind the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro. The 15 Pro Max’s A17 Pro SoC comes with 19 billion transistors and has 6 CPU cores with 2 performance and four energy-efficient scores. Apart from the 15 Pro Max, the 15 Pro is also powered by the same A17 Pro chipset while the vanilla iPhone 15 and the 15 Plus are powered by A16 processor.
