iQOO 9 series will debut in China on January 5. The company will launch two new flagship smartphones in China, which include the vanilla model and the 9 Pro. Details of the two devices have leaked in the past. iQOO itself has confirmed the display and fast charging details of the two devices. iQOO 9 series specifications

iQOO 9 series specifications have leaked, courtesy of tipster Ishan Agarwal. The company will launch its new flagship smartphones on January 5. Starting with the Pro model, the phone will come with a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 300Hz touch sampling rate support. The screen will have a 2K resolution (3200×1440 pixels) and 517 PPI.

On the glass back, there will be a triple-camera setup with a 50MP Samsung GN5 1/1.57” sensor. The main camera will come with optical image stabilisation (OIS) support and an f/1.75 aperture. It will be accompanied by a 50MP, 150-degree ultrawide camera with an f/2.3 aperture. The ultrawide camera will also shoot macro images and come with support for a fisheye mode similar to the GT 2 Pro. Lastly, there will be a 16MP f/2.2 portrait camera sensor. For selfies, the phone will have a 16MP front camera. The rear camera on the 9 Pro will support 8K video recording as well.

The phone will pack a 4700 mAh battery with 120W fast charging support, 50W wireless charging, and 10W reverse charging. It will measure 164.8mm×75.2mm×8.8mm/ 9.2mm depending on the variant. The phone will weigh about 204 grams and 210 grams for both variants, which includes the BMW Motorrad Edition.

The device will come with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage. It will boot Android 12-based Origin OS Ocean out of the box.

Agarwal has shared a rendered image of the vanilla model’s rear panel, which reveals a huge camera module block. The device has a triple-camera setup with two large cutouts and the third cutout below the LED flash. It will feature a 50MP Samsung GN5 1/1.57” sensor with OIS, a 13MP, 120-degree ultrawide camera and a 12MP portrait camera.

The rear panel has the iconic BMW stripes on the back. The power button on the right edge of the phone has a blue accent on it. For selfies, the phone will have a 16MP front camera. It will come with a 6.78-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 388PPI and a 120Hz refresh rate. The display will have a 360Hz Touch sampling rate.

Agarwal further claims that the phone will come with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. It will pack a 4700 mAh battery with 120w fast charging. The device will weigh 206 grams and measure 164.5×76.7×8.3mm. it will also boot Android 12-based Origin OS Ocean out of the box.
