Tech giant Google is all set to launch the new Google Pixel line up in three days. We already know too much about the devices including the fact that there is not going to be a Google Pixel 3 Ultra. Thanks to the overwhelming amount of leaks, we have a fair enough idea about the features and specifications of the Google Pixel 3 and 3 XL. And now, there is another leak that comes from a Canadian carrier called Freedom Mobile. The carrier listed the upcoming Pixel devices on their official website on October 06, revealing all the major details.
Google Pixel 3 and 3 XL Price Details
As per the Freedom Mobile listing, the 64GB onboard storage variant of the Pixel 3 is priced at 999 Canadian Dollars, while the same storage of Pixel 3 XL is priced at 1,129 CAD. The Google Pixel 3 with 128GB onboard storage bears a price tag of 1,129 CAD and the Google Pixel 3 XL with 128GB onboard storage is priced at 1,259 CAD.
In States, 999 CAD translates to 771 dollars, which is quite expensive. The US pricing of the devices is expected to be different than this one. The Google Pixel 3 should start at $700 in the US for its 64GB onboard storage variant, while the 128GB variant of the Pixel 3 XL could go as high as $1,000. The smartphones will be available in three color variants- Black, White, and Pink. However, the Pixel 3 XL was listed at the Freedom Mobile in black and white only.
Google Pixel 3 and 3 XL Will Share Multiple Features and Specifications
The
Google Pixel 3 and the Pixel 3 XL will likely share several features and specifications. Both the smartphones will run on Android 9 Pie, which is obvious. Under the hood, they will pack the same Qualcomm
Snapdragon 845 processor, coupled with
4GB of RAM along with other storage variants. The smartphones will be both water and dust resistant (IP68). In the imaging department, the Google Pixel 3 and the Pixel 3 XL will feature a dual 8MP front-facing camera and the rear of the devices will boast a single 12MP unit.
The smartphones will differ in screen resolution and diagonal, battery capacity, weight, and dimensions. The Google Pixel 3 will come with a 5.4-inch display with 1080 x 2160 pixels, while the Pixel 3 XL will feature a larger
6..71-inch notched display with 1440 x 2880 pixels. Fuelling the Pixel 3 would be a 2915 mAh battery. while the Pixel 3 XL gets a 3430 mAh battery.
Google’s new Pixel devices might be available for pre-ordering next week, right after the launch. If you have been waiting to get your hands on any of the devices, you don’t have to wait for much longer. The pre-ordering should start shortly after the launch on October 9.
