Huawei has launched yet another smartphone, the Huawei Mate 40E in its flagship Mate-series lineup. Initially, the Mate 40 series debuted back in October 2020 that includes handsets like – Huawei Mate 40, Mate 40 Pro, and the Mate 40 Pro+. The launch of this newly announced Mate 40E was tipped lately, as the phone was spotted in a listing on Tmall. The Huawei Mate 40E uses Huawei’s in-house Kirin 990E chipset, features a 6.5-inch display, and will be available for pre-orders in China starting from today. The price of the Huawei Mate 40E with 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage starts at 4599 Yuan (Rs 51,508). There’s also a higher-end variant that comes with 8GB RAM and 256GB, which is priced at around 5099 Yuan (Rs 57,107). The device comes in three colour options that include – Mithril, Bright Black and Glazed White. The device will go on sale on March 18th in China. No details regarding the global availability of the handset has been confirmed by Huawei at the moment.
