The upcoming Neo 9 series smartphones are tipped to be the last smartphone launch by the brand in China. iQOO will debut the iQOO 12 smartphone in India on December 12. iQOO previously debuted the vanilla iQOO 12 and iQOO 12 Pro smartphones in November 2023 in China.

iQOO Neo 9 and Neo 9 Pro Specifications Tipped
Digital Chat Station reveals that Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC will power the vanilla Neo 9 smartphone. The chipset is built on a 4nm process and features one Cortex-X3 core at 3.2GHz, two Cortex-A715 cores at 2.8GHz, two Cortex-A710 cores at 2.8GHz, three Cortex-A510 cores at 2.0GHz and Adreno 740 GPU. In contrast, the Neo 9 Pro will be equipped with MediaTek Dimensity 9300 SoC.
MediaTek recently debuted the chipset and Vivo X100 and X100 Pro smartphones were the first to sport the chipset. However, the chipset is said to throttle after two minutes of stress tests due to the lack of efficiency cores. The chipset is built on a 4nm process and features one Cortex-X4 core at 3.25GHz, three Cortex-X4 cores at 2.85GHz, four Cortex-A720 cores at 2.0GHz andMali-G720 Immortalis MP12 GPU.
The tipster adds that iQOO will equip the upcoming iQOO Pad 2 tablet with the MediaTek Dimensity 9300 chipset. Digital Chat Station confirms that the Neo 9 series smartphones will be equipped with 1.5K resolution. The tipster previously confirmed that the devices will feature a 6.78-inch AMOLED display. The schematic render shared by DCS confirms that iQOO will equip the device with a centred punch hole.

The tipster previously confirmed that the device will feature a dual-coloured rear panel. The smartphone will run on Origin OS 4 based on Android 14 out of the box. The IMEI listing of the smartphones reveals that the vanilla Neo 9 and Neo 9 Pro smartphones will sport the V2338A and V2339A model numbers.
