iQOO is gearing up for the launch of the iQOO Z9 5G in India. The microsite for the upcoming smartphone is already live on iQOO India’s website, confirming the chipset and camera specifications. Check out the details to expect.
iQOO Z9 5G Camera and Chipset Details
iQOO has confirmed that it will launch the upcoming smartphone with the MediaTek Dimensity 7200 chipset. iQOO claims that the smartphone has scored over 734K points on the AnTuTu V10 benchmarking platform.
The iQOO Z9 5G smartphone was recently spotted on the Geekbench database with the same SoC. The Geekbench listing also confirmed that the device will debut with 8GB of RAM and Android 14 out of the box. he forthcoming Z series smartphone recently acquired BIS certification, hinting the launch is nearing in India.
It is also revealed that the upcoming Z series smartphone will be the first device in the segment to sport a Sony IMX882 sensor for the primary camera. iQOO adds that the Sony IMX882 sensor will be aided by OIS support. The teaser shared on the microsite divulges that the device will sport dual cameras on the rear with LED flash support.
The iQOO Z9 5G will come with a textured pattern in the green shade and a thickness of 7.83mm. The upcoming iQOO Z9 5G is confirmed to be available via Amazon.
The phone is said to sport an OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 1800 nits. The OLED panel will house an in-display fingerprint scanner and a centred punch-hole cutout to house the selfie camera. The smartphone is also said to offer support for 44W fast charging tech. iQOO will equip the smartphone with support for up to 8GB of virtual RAM expansion.
A report from 91Mobiles Hindi claims that the device will be priced under Rs 25,000. It is said to debut at the beginning of March but nothing is confirmed as of now. Since the brand has started sharing information about the iQOO Z9, we can expect more on this soon.
