The itel Power 450 has launched in India as the latest keypad feature phone from the budget phone maker. The company that specialises in offering powerful budget smartphones was one of the first mainstream brands to launch a 5G device in India under Rs 10,000. Now, itel has launched a USB-C-supported feature phone in the country for under Rs 1,500.

The latest feature phone from the brand also gets a 2,500mAh battery, which claims to offer 15 days of backup and 20 hours of talktime. Let’s take a look at the itel Power 450 price in India and specifications.

itel is offering the latest keypad feature phone in India in three colours which are Deep blue, Dark Grey, and Light Green. Interested buyers can purchase the handset from leading retail stores across the country right away. The itel Power 450 is priced at Rs 1,449 in India, which is identical to the price of its predecessor Power 440.

The itel Power 450 looks similar to its predecessor Power 440 from the front. It has the same large display with the T9 keypad below. There are navigation and calling buttons along with a D-pad and large flashlight button in the middle.

However, the brand has upgraded the rear panel design with a separate cutout for the speaker grille and a square island for the digital camera module, unlike the visor-like design on the Power 440.

The highlight of the itel Power 450 is the USB-C charging port, which makes it India’s first keypad phone to have a universal charging standard. itel says that the move to switch to USB Type-C ports on feature phones will help improve customer experience and also reduce e-waste.

The phone is powered by a 2.500mAh battery, which offers 15 days of standby backup and 20 hours of talk time. The screen on the itel Power 450 measures 2.4-inch from corner to corner diagonally and offers QVGA (320 x 240 pixels) resolution. It is powered by a MediaTek MTK6261D processor backed by 8MB RAM and 32GB storage. It boots a proprietary operating system from the brand.

The phone is 13.4mm thin and comes with features like a rear digital camera, a torch, a King Voice speech-to-text app with Hindi/English support, wireless FM, 3.5mm audio jack, and more.

The phone features support for nine languages, including English, Hindi, Gujarati, Tamil, Telugu, Bengali, Kannada, Malayalam, and Punjabi.
