itel recently launched the itel A70 smartphone in India in the first week of January. The budget smartphone maker later launched a feature phone under the itel Power series in India. It seems like they are gearing up for yet another launch, as per the latest rumours.

91Mobiles has exclusively revealed the launch timeline of the upcoming itel Power series smartphones in India. The report confirms that it is aiming to target budget consumers with the upcoming launches.

itel Power Series Smartphones Launch Timeline

91Mobiles reveals that the Power series will consist of three new smartphones. While the report does not mention a concrete launch date, it’s expected to be announced in February.

The first smartphone from this series is said to run on Android 14 Go Edition, making it the only phone to run on this software. The Android 14 Go OS will inherit features from the standard version of Android 14.

The teaser shared by the publication hints that itel will partner with Amazon India for the launch. The second smartphone in the Power series might bring support for ultra-fast charging capabilities in the budget segment. The device is also expected to sport multiple optimisations for efficient battery life.

The last smartphone launching under the Power series will launch with an exclusive memory feature for India. The marketing image obtained by 91Mobiles teases the fast charging capabilities of the device. The image below gives us an idea of the port and button placements. The SIM card tray seems to be present on the left side of the smartphone.

The power button and volume rockers will be placed on the right side of the smartphone. itel will equip the device with a flat display and a centred punch hole cutout to house the selfie camera. A dual camera setup can be seen on the rear of the device, with an LED flash accompanying the module.
