Motorola Razr 50: Design Renders and Specs

The Motorola Razr 50 TENAA certification listing showcases its design which reveals some design changes compared to its predecessor. Motorola is set to bring a big cover display to the vanilla Razr model with the Razr 50 series. Except for the cover display, the rest of the design seems to be exactly the same as last year’s Razr 40.

The Motorola Razr 50 will offer a 3.6-inch cover display with a 1056 × 1066 pixel resolution and OLED panel. The folding display on the handset will be a 6.9-inch OLED screen with a Full HD+ (1080 × 2640 pixel) resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The smartphone will be equipped with a 3950mAh battery.

The Motorola Razr 50 will offer a dual camera setup which will include a 50MP primary shooter and a 13MP secondary camera (likely an ultra-wide-angle lens). It will feature a 32MP camera inside a centred punch-hole notch on the folding display. On the security front, the clamshell foldable will feature a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. The handset will measure 171.3 × 73.9 × 7.2mm and weigh 188 grams.

The Motorola Razr 50, as per the TENAA listing, will be equipped with an octa-core processor that has a 2.5GHz peak frequency. Rumours suggest that this could be the MediaTek Dimensity 7300X processor, which MediaTek is yet to debut officially. The handset will be available in 8GB, 12GB, and 16GB memory options. Users will have the option to choose between 128GB, 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB storage options.

The Motorola Razr 50 is expected to feature support for 33W fast charging. Rumours suggest that the Razr 50 series will go official next month, i.e. June 2024.
