Today, OnePlus is ready to unveil its OnePlus 12 and OnePlus 12R to the global market, including India, at its Smooth Beyond Belief event. This is a global and India launch. Along with the smartphones, the company will also unveil its Buds 3 earbuds.

All these devices have already launched in China, and their full specifications are known and no major variations are expected on this end. OnePlus Smooth Beyond Belief Event: How to Watch it Live?

The OnePlus Smooth Beyond Belief event will take place at 7:30 PM IST on Janaury 23 at New Delhi. It will be live-streamed on the company’s YouTube channel, Facebook, and X (formerly Twitter). OnePlus will also be streaming the event on its official website.

Keep in mind that OnePlus is launching these devices globally and in India as well. The India prices will be different compared to the European or US prices. OnePlus’ new phones will be sold via Amazon India and on OnePlus’ official India website.

OnePlus 12, OnePlus 12R, Buds 3 Expected Price in India

There have been several leaks about the prices of the upcoming OnePlus devices. An earlier leak by tipster Abhishek Yadav claimed the OnePlus 12 would start at Rs 64,999 for the 12GB RAM option, while the 16GB RAM variant would cost Rs 69,999. There’s no word on whether the 24GB RAM variant will come to India and how OnePlus plans to price it. Meanwhile, another leak has claimed the OnePlus 12R will start at Rs 39,999 in India.

If OnePlus does go with this leaked price for the flagship, it represents a hike compared to last year’s prices. The OnePlus 11 launched in 2023 at Rs 56,999 for the base 12GB variant, while the 16GB RAM version was introduced at Rs 61,999. In comparison, the OnePlus 11R was also launched at Rs 39,999, so it remains to be seen if OnePlus 12R continues with the same price as last year.

Display: The OnePlus 12 showcases a 6.82-inch AMOLED display featuring a 2K resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, up to 4,500 nits of brightness, and 2,160Hz PWM Dimming. OnePlus proudly declares that the smartphone has obtained DisplayMate A+ certification.
Software: Out of the box, the smartphone runs on the latest ColorOS 14, which is based on Android 14.
Cameras: The rear camera setup comprises a 50MP Sony LYT-808 primary camera, a 48MP Sony IMX581 ultrawide snapper, and a 64MP periscope zoom module. For capturing selfies, it includes a 32MP front-facing camera.
Processor: Driving the device is the recently released Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, ensuring optimal performance and reportedly achieving the highest AnTuTu score.
