Earlier this month, OnePlus pushed out the Open Beta update to the OnePlus 11.
Starting in October, more OnePlus devices will get the Open Beta update.
OnePlus has already announced the closed beta program for the OnePlus Nord 3.
Ahead of the official Android 14 release from Google, OnePlus announced the Open Beta program for the OnePlus 11 flagship model last week. Now, the brand has announced the Open Beta roadmap for the rest of the OnePlus devices. OnePlus has announced over 15 devices that are eligible for the Open Beta update, which will be followed by the stable release.
Five OnePlus devices including the OnePlus Pad will get the Open Beta update in October and 11 devices including the OnePlus 10,OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 8 series devices are scheduled to get the Open Beta update in the month of November 2023. In addition to the above-mentioned devices, the OnePlus Nord N20 SE will get the stable version of Android 14 directly in H1 2024. Also, OnePlus says that the timeline mentioned here is approximate and these are subject to change depending on model, region, and carrier. Like always, the Beta version will be rolled out in batches and in certain regions only. Once OnePlus has tested the Beta version with a fair number of users, the stable version of OxygenOS 14 based on Android 14 will be rolled out soon.
How to Apply For the OnePlus Open Beta Program?
Once the Open Beta program goes live for the above-mentioned devices, users can head to the settings on their respective phones and follow the below-mentioned steps to get the Open Beta update.
Open Settings > About device > Tap up to date > Tap icon on the top right > Beta program > Follow the steps to apply.
Once the application has been submitted, OnePlus will review the application within a few days and if the application is approved, users will get the Open Beta version in the next three days.
