The OnePlus 8 is a successor to the OnePlus 7T, and it brings a few design changes as well as specs bump, including a punch-hole selfie camera and a vertical triple-camera setup on the rear. The OnePlus 8, similar to its predecessor, features a metal-and-glass sandwich design, and looks very similar to the OnePlus 7 Pro, except the pop-up camera mechanism. The phone has a 6.5-inch Fluid AMOLED screen at the front with Full HD+ resolution, 90Hz refresh rate, 20:9 aspect ratio, and lamination of Corning Gorilla Glass 6 scratch-resistant panel. There is an under-display optical fingerprint reader that’s fast and accurate. The phone features a water-splash resistant design. OnePlus’ new smartphone every year comes with a brand new Snapdragon processing chipset, and the OnePlus 8 uses the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC. It has eight 64-bit CPU cores, with one of them featuring higher clock speed than the rest.
