Poco recently launched the M4 5G in India. The new Poco budget smartphone sits below the two Pro models, which also arrive in 4G and 5G variants. It looks like Poco is now gearing up to launch the M4 5G globally. The device has been spotted on the NBTC website ahead of its global launch.

The global variant is expected to pack the same set of specifications which are found in the Indian variant. This means that the global variant might feature a MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC. Let’s take a look at the Poco M4 5G global variant’s specifications, features and other details.

Poco M4 5G Moves a Step Closer to Global Launch as it Appears on NBTC Certification

The Poco M4 5G has visited the NBTC website. According to the listing, the global variant has the model number 22041219PG. The listing on the NBTC website suggests that the global launch is imminent. The phone has previously been spotted on the FCC and IMDA certification websites as well.

In terms of specifications, the M4 5G features a 6.58-inch IPS LCD with a 90Hz refresh rate support. It comes with a Full HD+ resolution and has a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 5 as well.

The M4 5G draws power from a MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC. The Indian variant comes with up to 6GB of RAM along with 128GB of internal storage. We can expect the global variant to launch with similar storage configurations. There is support for storage expansion via a microSD card up to 512GB.

The phone sports a dual-camera setup on the back. It has a 50MP main camera and a 2MP depth sensor. For selfies, there is an 8MP front camera. The M4 5G packs a 5000 mAh battery. It also supports 18W fast charging via a USB Type-C port. The charger is provided in the box.

Other specifications include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, a 3.5mm headphone jack, Wi-Fi, 5G, 4G VoLTE, etc. The phone runs Android 12 out of the box and has a layer of MIUI 13 on top. We can expect the company to announce the launch date soon.
