POCO India head, Himanshu Tandon just confirmed the existence of the POCO X6 Neo on X (formerly Twitter), taking a dig at the recently launched Realme 12 5G. The smartphone is expected to launch in India this month. Check out the details below.
POCO X6 Neo Coming Soon
Tandon’s X post suggests that the Dimensity 6100+ SoC and an LCD screen are red flags for Rs 17,000. He further said that the company uses MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ in the POCO M6 5G, which is priced at around Rs 10,000.
For those who don’t know, POCO currently has two X6-series smartphones – the POCO X6 5G and the POCO X6 Pro 5G. The upcoming POCO X6 Neo will be the third addition to the company’s X6 lineup and will be the company’s first handset with the Neo moniker.
The POCO X6 Neo is believed to have the model number 2312FRAFDI and has already acquired the Bureau of Indian Standard (BIS) certification. It is expected to be priced under Rs 16,000 and could be a slightly tweaked version of the Redmi Note 13 5G.
The POCO X6 Neo could also offer 108MP rear cameras and a MediaTek Dimensity 6080 processor and might offer a 120Hz OLED display. It could be backed by a 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging.
